Thank you for using Evere (“the Service”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Service. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

The Service is a mobile application designed to help couples and groups manage bill splitting and settlements. The Service provides:

Project creation and management
Payment recording and splitting (equal, ratio, manual)
Multi-currency support with exchange rate conversion
Receipt image attachments
Project member invitation and sharing
Settlement status management

3. Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You can create an account using:

Anonymous authentication (Guest Mode)
Apple Sign In
Google Sign In
Email/Password

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
We are not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorized use of your account
In Guest Mode, data may be lost if you lose your device

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

Violate any laws or regulations
Engage in criminal activity
Infringe on the rights of others
Interfere with the operation of the Service
Attempt unauthorized access
Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
Place excessive load on the Service’s network

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to us or the rightful owners. You may not use these rights beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 Service Provision

The Service is provided “as is”
We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or usefulness
Exchange rates are obtained from third-party APIs and we do not guarantee their accuracy

6.2 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

Our liability for any damages arising from use of the Service may be limited
We may not be liable for damages caused by communication or computer failures beyond our control
We may not be liable for damages caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters

7. Service Changes and Termination

We may change, add to, or discontinue the Service without prior notice. We may also terminate the Service at any time.

8. Data Backup

You are responsible for backing up your data stored in the Service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may not be liable for any loss or corruption of data.

9. Privacy

10. Advertising

The free version displays advertisements through Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for information about ad delivery.

11. Pro Features (Paid Features)

11.1 Payments

In-app purchases are provided through RevenueCat. Payments are processed through platform billing systems such as the Apple App Store.

11.2 Refunds

Refunds are subject to each platform’s policies. Please contact the platform (e.g., Apple App Store) for refund requests.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms as necessary. Modified Terms take effect when posted to the Service.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over Ryugo Imada’s location.
